The Weserbergland Backyard Ultra is a collaborative project of various clubs and will take place from October 25 to 27, 2025, in Höxter-Lütmarsen. Participants can compete in a unique format where they must complete a set distance of 6.706 kilometers in each lap until they can no longer finish the lap within the allotted time. The event has produced impressive performances in the past, such as Adrian Rewig's 41 laps in 2025, which corresponds to a distance of 274 km. It is an elimination race, where the last runner to drop out is declared the winner.
